The scenery is one of its kind among the Luxemburgish border, a place where you would believe time stood still for the last 100 years. The idea of mixing this specific scenery up with a bunch of classic cars just adds to the charm of these old machineries.
With temperatures fetching above 30°C (86°F) over the last days, this day was no exception. The blazing sun ensured the temperatures remained high without much change of weather in sight. Ideal conditions you would believe? – Well, yes and no! While the dry and hot weather encouraged people to bring their classics out and admire other vintage vehicles. The event turned out so popular that the site was overcrowded by visitors, blocking the way for classics passing through and making it nearly impossible to find a spot on site.
Nevertheless, the line-up of cars was astonishing from tasty Alfas to a Facel Vega Facellia F2 Convertible (which also happens to be my favourite car of the show) there was something for every taste. Plus, as there was no schedule obliging the owners to stay, there was a constant change in cars. To sum it up, an event worth visiting.
